Sleep Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 small-medium bananas
  • 1 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 large handful leafy greens, like spinach
  • 1-2 cups coconut water

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Add coconut water to your smoothie thickness preference (more water = thinner smoothie).

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Drink before bed.

Drink this smoothie nightly before bed to help you sleep! The bio-active ingredients in the banana, mango, and cherries will help sooth the body into sleep. Leafy greens provide minerals salts to help balance the adrenal glands overnight. Greens are especially important for those with adrenal fatigue or anxiety related waking at night.
(Red cherries + green spinach = a brown smoothie. It’s not pretty, but it tastes delicious & is very effective!)

Pair this with sweet potato and asparagus at dinner for enhanced effects. The frequently you consume these combinations, the more powerful they become. For best results, drink the whole smoothie.
