Celery juice is one of the most powerful healing foods out there! Unfortunately, sometimes you get a batch that is really bitter. Here are my tips for bitter celery juice!
- Cut off the leaves.
Celery leaves can be more bitter than the rest, so definitely cut off the leaves.
2. Cut off the base
Cut off the bottom of the celery because this can also be really bitter.
3. Fresh is less bitter.
Try to get fresh celery. The longer it sits in your fridge, the more bitter it tends to get.
4. If it’s really bitter, it’s okay to drink less.
If you get a really bitter batch, just make a smaller volume. Sometimes more bitter means more medicinal. So it’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just not the most pleasant thing.
5. Just chug it!
The last thing is something that I learned in college – you gotta just chug it!
I hope these tips for bitter celery juice help you when you find a batch that is just a little too bitter for your liking!
