Lemon or Lime Water
Great for hydration & detoxification. Lemons & limes activate water, making it a living fluid again. Lemon & lime water is more powerful than plain water at grabbing toxins in the body & flushing them out. They are also a great source of minerals & highly bio-available vitamin C. Despite the tartness of lemons & limes, they are powerfully alkalizing in the body.
Drink 16oz of this recipe first thing in the morning before anything else (even supplements). You can drink as much of it as you'd like throughout the day. I make a 64oz mason jar every day (with the juice of 2 whole lemons) and sip it throughout the day.
- 16 oz filtered water (See notes below for the best water filtration system)
- 1/2 juice of lemon
- 1 Tbsp raw honey
- 1 inch fresh ginger root
Squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lemon into 16oz of water.
Slice or grate in fresh ginger root.
