This juice is great for knocking out a cold or simply for boosting the immune system at any time. The taste can be quite strong, so prepare yourself! If you really want to kick things up a notch, you can omit the apple and make a ginger & turmeric shot. I recommend using dark red skinned apples, as they have the highest nutrient content.
- 1-2 whole apples (preferably deep red)
- 1 inch ginger root
- 1 inch turmeric root
Run the apples, ginger & turmeric through a juicer
Drink as soon as possible, preferably within 30 minutes
