OMG this humus is so good. It rarely lasts more than a day in my house. It's creamy and delightful as a dip, spread, or salad topping! Omit the avocado to make a fat free version.
- 2 1/2 cups black beans, cooked from dry or canned
- 1 tsp liquid (from the beans)
- 1/2 cup avocado omit for a fat free version
- 3/4 cup cilantro
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- salt & pepper to taste
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.
