Basil Asparagus Pesto

Move over oily pesto (which I used to love, but after following a low fat plant-based diet, it doesn't make me feel good). This pesto is light & refreshing without all the fat. It's so good on grilled vegetables or seared cauliflower!
Ingredients
- 8 Stalks asparagus
- 1 cup spinach, fresh, raw
- 2 Tbsp basil, fresh, raw
- 1/2 cup sprouts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice, fresh squeezed
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp raw honey
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 Tbsp olive oil omit for a fat free version
Instructions

Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.

Blend until ingredients are finely chopped.
