Hormone Healing Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups spinach (organic)
  • 8 spears asparagus, raw, chopped
  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 cup black beans (cooked from dry beans or BPA free canned beans, rinsed)
  • 1/4 whole avocado

Instructions

  1. Place spinach in a bowl.

  2. Top with veggies, apple, beans & avocado.

Top with my favorite Garlic Tahini Dressing. Tahini is a healing food for hormonal imbalances & menopause as well.
Pair with a warm cup of raspberry leaf & nettle leaf tea and a side of grapes, preferably black grapes, if you can find them.

Raspberry leaf and nettle leaf are highly beneficial herbs for the reproductive system. You can mix the two tea bags in one cup if you’d like. Try to include a few cups a day of raspberry leaf to promote hormonal balance.

I would recommend eating this salad daily for maximum benefit. Healing foods are most medicinal in large quantities, so feel free to increase the portion size or eat this salad twice a day if your body calls for it!
