OMG this humus is so good. It rarely lasts more than a day in my house. It's creamy and delightful as a dip, spread, or salad topping! Omit the avocado to make a fat free version.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups black beans, cooked from dry or canned
  • 1 tsp liquid (from the beans)
  • 1/2 cup avocado omit for a fat free version
  • 3/4 cup cilantro
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.
