This is one of my favorite dressings! I used to wonder why all these whole food recipes had dates in them and now I know why. The combination of sweet, salt, & creamy is what makes a good dressing! I especially love this paired with raw asparagus and sweet potato.


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1/4 whole avocado
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 3 large Medjool dates
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.

If you've never purchased tahini, try this Ethiopian Tahini. It's a good clean brand and super delicious.
