Here’s how to make the best homemade wild blueberry vinaigrette! This recipe is vinegar-free and packed with amazing nutrients and flavor.

Wild Blueberry Dressing Ingredients

Wild Blueberries – Wild blueberries are a superfood! They are amazing for every part of your body – especially your brain and your liver. They help to remove toxins in your body, and they help act as a heal-all for all types of ailments. You can buy the frozen blueberries from Wyman’s fruit, and they are wild Maine blueberries. It doesn’t matter that they are frozen. They have the same nutritional value as fresh.

Raspberries – Raspberries are another amazing food. Another antioxidant, they are a wonderful source of vitamins and minerals. They are anti-inflammatory and also help to heal any kind of ailment. For this wild blueberry vinaigrette recipe, you can use fresh or frozen.

Garlic – Garlic is absolutely incredible. It is packed with vitamins and minerals and even has antibiotic properties. It’s excellent for the digestive system and is another anti-inflammatory food. Raw garlic is even better for you than cooked garlic, and this recipe uses it fresh!

Honey – Filled with vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that are essential, raw honey has wonderful healing properties. Raw, local honey is the best you can get. In this wild blueberry vinaigrette recipe, honey acts as the natural sweetener.

Lemon Juice – Another powerful healing food, lemons help to cleanse the body. Lemon juice is used as a substitute in this recipe and is a healthy substitute for vinegar in almost any recipe. Don’t be fooled by lemons seemingly acidic nature, they’re actually very alkalizing in the body due to their high mineral content

Salt – Just a tad of salt will help to make this wild blueberry dressing even tastier.

Why No Vinegar?

You’ll notice that the above ingredients do not include vinegar. This is about as close to a raspberry balsamic as you can get without using vinegar.

Vinegar is a very strong acid, which can be disruptive to the body. Especially the gastrointestinal tract. It’s best to avoid putting highly acidifying compounds, such as vinegar, into the body.
