This post shares the top tips for dealing with ascension symptoms and raising your vibration during this process of expansion.

There are a lot of big shifts happening right now, and our bodies can definitely be feeling it.

Right now, we are going through ascension on a personal and collective level.

Ascension is the process of expanding your consciousness, raising your vibration, transcending your ego, and essentially growing your spirituality.

It’s a process of releasing old programming, trapped emotions, limitations or fears, and anything that’s been passed through your generational lines.

Through this process of release, you can reach more elevated levels of consciousness.

You appreciate a more spiritual existence, which in turn leads to a more joyful and serendipitous experience in life.

As you are going through this process, your physical body is dealing with a lot of energy shifts.

Right now that process is so rapid because we just moved into the Age of Aquarius. We just had the Saturn/Jupiter conjunction, and we just had the winter solstice. There is a lot going on for your body to process.

So your ascension symptoms might include fatigue, aches and pains, ringing in the ears, and difficulty sleeping. It could be any number of things.

Know that these are all symptoms of your body recalibrating, your body slowing you down so that every single cell in your body can shift and change your DNA.

This is a normal process, but sometimes it can be emotionally and physically uncomfortable.

Top Tips for Dealing with Ascension Symptoms

The following helpful tips will help you move through ascension with more ease.

Nourishing Foods

During this ascension process, you want to incorporate grounding foods.

Potatoes, root veggies, cooked veggies, bananas, dried fruits, warm soups, and grains and beans, if you tolerate them well.

Everything we eat has the power to heal us. These foods are especially grounding, and their unique energy can help you feel more in the moment.

Increasing Hydration

You also want to focus on helping your body move this energy as efficiently as possible. A huge part of this is hydration.

We are all chronically dehydrated. We inherited dehydration at birth. It takes years to fully rehydrate the body on a cellular level. That’s part of the ascension process.

I was chronically dehydrated, and I’m still working on getting my hydration to an optimal level.

Living water is absolutely crucial, so get yourself a 32oz mason jar and make sure you are drinking at least two of these a day.

My go-to right now is fresh cranberries that I juice, dilute with water, and then add a little maple syrup.

Lemon water is amazing. Use the juice of a whole lemon in a 32oz jar with plenty of honey to make it taste delicious. You can also throw some ginger in there.

Fresh citrus juice is another wonderfully healing choice. You can also do thyme water, parsley water, green juices, celery juice, anything that resonates with you.

Basically, you want your water or fluids to be alive with living energy.

You can also make your water living with energy as well. You can do that with the power of intention.

Using Essential Oils

Often as the vibrations are shifting, we almost start to feel like we vibrate out of our body, and it can be hard to stay grounded.

I also love essential oils for supporting the body. Grounding oils are a wonderful way to support our bodies as we move through ascension.

Here’s a few that are wonderful for grounding:

  • Patchouli Oil – an oil for embodiment and physicality
  • Vetiver Oil – a very grounding, earthy oil
  • Cedar Wood Oil – a woody, calming, and soothing choice
  • Firs (Douglas Fir and Siberian Fir) – these help to purge old generational stuff.
  • Cilantro Oil – the oil of emotional detox
  • Melissa Oil (Lemon Balm) – the oil of light & the oil of ascension. It will help your physical body to recalibrate into that new vibrational energy in a calm and peaceful way.

My favorite brands of essential oils are doTerra Essential Oils and Rocky Mountain Oils.

To see if the oil is right for you, smell the oil. If it smells wonderful, then you know your body needs it. Your sense of smell will tell you. Trust your body.

Taking Epsom Salt Baths

I cannot recommend Epsom salt baths enough. Get yourself a good quality Epsom salt with no synthetic fragrances.

Add one to two cups to the bathwater and soak for 15 to 30 minutes.  

This is a phenomenal way to clear energy from the body. Your body will also absorb some of that magnesium which is very grounding and soothing to the body.

Just like we are all born dehydrated, most of us are born also with a magnesium deficiency. This will help get some of the magnesium to get into your body and relieve symptoms.

Adding Gentle Movement

Incorporating move movement into your routine is an effective way to move out dense energy. This doesn’t have to be any kind of crazy exercise routine – just some gentle movement.

You can also do some rebounding, which is gentle bouncing on the trampoline. That helps to move the lymphatic system, which helps to move stale energy.

Practicing Embodiment

Put some music on and move around. Do yoga, stretch, roll around, dance, or just breath. Move where your body wants to be loved on.

Below are some ideas for embodiment practices:

  • Breathwork
  • Dancing
  • Singing
  • Chanting
  • Walking
  • Rebounding
  • Shaking your hands out
  • Yoga

Each of these forms of movement becomes stronger when you add the intention to move dense, heavy energy.

Supporting Supplements

Lemon balm is phenomenal for supporting you through ascension. It helps to reduce the excitatory potential in the central nervous system. You can do this through a tea or supplement.

Magnesium is also very grounding and soothing, so you can take a couple of capsules of this if you can aches and pains.

I also love curcumin. That’s the active component in turmeric, which is very grounding. It helps to bring down inflammation in the body, which can also help with aches and pains.

Adding supportive supplements is one of my best tips for dealing with ascension symptoms.

Getting Extra Rest

To support your body, make sure to get a lot of extra rest, especially if you are in the Northern Hemisphere. With winter upon us, this is really a time for slowing down and taking a break.

What Your Ascension Symptoms Really Mean

Think of a slingshot. You feel like you want to go, but you kept getting pulled back a little more. The slingshot will eventually let go, and you will move forward but it’s a matter of timing. It will happen at the right time. Trust that the divine knows when the right timing is. Trust and surrender.

In the meantime, get extra sleep, or take a nap if you can. Our bodies are going through a lot right now.

Those are my primacy tips for dealing with ascension symptoms while supporting the physical body. It’s a spiritual, physical, and emotional process.
