How to Make Crispy & Oil-Free Roasted Potatoes

Here’s the recipe for crispy yet oil-free roasted potatoes.

Many people mistakenly think potatoes are not a healthy food. That couldn’t be further from the truth!

Potatoes usually have all kinds of toppings. These get loaded onto the potato and make them not healthy.

Yet, these oil-free roasted potatoes are free from all the ingredients you want to avoid.

Potassium, B6, and trace minerals are in potatoes. Potatoes can help heal hypo- or hyperthyroidism. They can also help with inflammation, brain fog, troubled sleep, anxiety, and digestive inflammation.

Potatoes also a great alternative if you’re trying to lower your grain intake.

Using parchment paper to bake potatoes prevents sticking to the pan with no oil required. It also makes clean up a breeze!

You’ll be surprised at how crispy your oil-free roasted potatoes can get with no oil whatsoever.

Crispy Oil-Free Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes (You can use any variety, but Russet’s will come out the crispiest.)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 
2. Wash the potatoes. Cut into ½ inch thick slices. 
3. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Lay the potatoes onto the parchment paper in a single layer. 
4. Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes. 
5. Then turn the potatoes once the bottom is golden brown. 
6. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bottom of the potato is golden brown. For crispier potatoes, cut them thinner and bake a little longer. For softer potatoes, cut them thicker and bake for less time.

This oil-free potato recipe is fat-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free. It’s just delicious potatoes!
