Banana Spinach Smoothie

I LOVE this smoothie. It's so simple, yet there's something so satisfying about it. I drink this smoothie often in the winter. There is no frozen fruit, so it's room temperature. No chattering teeth!

Bananas are rich in fiber and good healthy carbohydrates. Their fiber helps cleanse the digestive tract, by binding toxins, pulling them out of the body. Bananas are great for a sensitive digestive system. They are also critical on a high raw diet, because they one of the more calorie dense fruits.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 medium bananas
  • 4 cups spinach
  • 2-3 large Medjool dates (or any kind of dates)
  • 1 cup coconut water or filtered water
  • 1 squeeze lime (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
